Matt Tallman CPA

Principal

After graduating from the University of Connecticut, Matt began his professional career in corporate finance for multiple Fortune 500 companies. In 2006, he left Bank of America to return to the Food and Beverage industry, a place he spent 9 years working in both Front and Back of House in his younger years. After serving as Controller (FOX Sports Grill) and Director of Finance/Human Resources (Saddle Ranch Chop House), he went out on his own to start Gourmet Financial Solutions in 2013. The mission was to provide professional quality bookkeeping and accounting for independent restaurant companies. GFS has seen its business grow to service over 35 restaurants, wineries and food service businesses (total sales of 75 million dollars combined). In 2016, Matt created BOH Services, a company that would help restaurants manage their payroll and HR as well as provide industry analysis and operational strategy.

Justyn Mallas

Operational Specialist

After graduating from California State University Channel Islands with a bachelor of science in Business and a minor in finance, Justyn began his professional career in the finance and insurance industry in 2014. In 2017, he left the insurance and finance industry to return to the Food and Beverage industry, an industry that he had spent his early childhood and teenage years working in his family’s Greek restaurant. In 2017, he joined the owners of Gourmet Financial Solutions to assist in the process of forming BOH Services, a financial reporting, consulting and accounting firm. Justyn brought his expertise in accounting, finance, insurance, investment consulting, hospitality, and software integrations to BOH Services to provide clients with industry analysis, operational strategy, and financial reporting.
